150th Club Dinner

A great night celebrating the establishment of the Nelson Club.

John Goodman's contribution to rugby was recognised with the presentation of the Goodman Cup, to be awarded for service to the Nelson Rugby Club, and the John Goodman Challenge Trophy, presented to the Goodman family by the Tasman Union, that will be played for each week in the senior competition.

Collingwood presented the club with a plaque celebrating the Club's 150th and John MacBeth entertained the crowd with some of his more humorous adventures from a long career commentating on a wide range of sporting events.
